Alko’s review: Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 by Dynasty

The first time I saw a Chinese wine at Alko was two years ago. I did not taste it. This year, the wine is back and I could not resist.

Dynasty Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 is surprisingly pleasant in the nose, and displays clear Cabernet aromas. However, the wine oxidizes very fast and loses its flavour to turn a bit more vinegarish. In the mouth, the start is good with a little fruit but very fast, it is overwhelmed by acidity and bitterness. Tannins eventually are very hard and surprisingly give no structure to the wine.

In the end, this is not a good wine but the result is not as bad as I could imagine.
